Yusti belonged to the first cohort to graduate in architecture from the Universidad del Valle, in 1958, and spent her career in Cali, in the practice Richardson y Yusti that she ran with Enrique Richardson. The commissions she is remembered for came together: the venues Cali needed for the sixth Pan American Games of 1971, among them the Coliseo El Pueblo and the Alcides Nieto Patiño velodrome, both built inside the sports precinct laid out on the western edge of the city. She also built the Palacio de San Francisco. Spanish Wikipedia describes her as one of the architects who carried modern architecture into Cali and shaped its urban expansion, and gives no birth date beyond the twentieth century; Wikidata records 1901, which the published account does not support, so no year is asserted here.
