Heinrich Wolff, born in 1970, was Jo Noero's partner in Noero Wolff Architects from 1998 to 2012, the firm responsible for the Red Location Museum in New Brighton alongside schools, clinics and housing across South Africa's townships. He won the Daimler Chrysler Award for South African Architecture in 2007 and in 2010 became the first South African architect invited into the main exhibition of the Venice Biennale. Since the partnership ended he has led Wolff Architects in Cape Town together with his wife, the writer and curator Ilze Wolff, working on projects that pair buildings with archival and oral-history research into the communities they serve.
